4th Swiss Open Cultural Data Hackathon
Our fourth Open Cultural Data Hackathon is taking take place on 26-28 October 2018 at the Swiss National Museum in Zurich – in cooperation with the ETH Library, Zentralbibliothek Zürich, the Swiss Social Archives, the State Archives of the Canton of Zurich, the Basel Historical Museum, Wikimedia CH, infoclio.ch and hopefully further partners and sponsors.
A Pre-Event to our Hackathon was held at the ETH Zurich on 11 September 2018. This event was aimed specifically at students and gave information about the type of data provided at the GLAMhack as well as examples of projects conducted during past editions.

Share your data in view of the next Open Cultural Data Hackathon
You may own yourself cultural data that you are ready to share. Please look at these infosheets (German / French) on how to share data. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact beat.estermann@openglam.ch.
Registration
If you wish to participate in the hackathon, you must register. This regards data-providers, programmers, designers, artists, experts and so on. If you just want to come by and check out how the hackathon works or attend the project presentations and Swiss GLAMhack Awards on Sunday, you do not need to register.
Online registration is closed, but you can still come directly to our registration desk at the Swiss National Museum.

Hackathon Projects
There is no parking for cars at the museum. The closest parkings are: Zürich Main Station (Sihlquai 41), Central (Seilergraben) and Urania (Uraniastrasse 3). Further information can be found on the Swiss National Museum's website.
How to get to the Youth Hostel
The Youth Hostel is situated in Zurich Wollishofen, about 25 minutes from the National Museum by public transports. From the Zurich main station, take a train to the “Wollishofen” stop (lines S4 or S8), followed by a 5-minute walk via Staubstrasse to the youth hostel (sign-posted). Or take the tram line 7 from the stop “Bahnhofstrasse/HB” to “Morgental”, followed by a 5- minute walk to the youth hostel. The youth hostel has a limited number of chargeable car parking spaces.
