Scattered Windrose
A May 15-17 weekend of cold weather turning hot in Switzerland. The graph shows wind speed and direction, with different colours for each of the almost 100 SwissMetNet weather stations, whose data was published on the Swiss pilot Open Government Data portal, collected using a community-built API, and visualised using D3, SVG and Inkscape.
The code can be tested here: http://opendata.utou.ch/scatterwindrose
