We aim to produce animations in the spirit of Dada while using Dada artworks. We do this by building parametrised animations where we bring words and images together into ever changing, random animations.

For this first prototype we used Walter Serner’s Text “Letzte Lockerung – Manifest Dada” as a source. This text is consitently reconfigurated, rewritten and thereby reinterpreted by the means of machine learning using “char-rnm”.

The Images are taken from the collection “Wandervögel” from the Schweizerische Sozialarchiv.
