| make.opendata.ch is an initiative of http://opendata.ch, the open data initiative part of /ch/open (Swiss Open Systems User Group) and SI (Schweizer Informatik Gesellschaft). We recently kicked off the political debate on the federal level during a well-received event in June 2011 at the Swiss Federal Archives, since followed up with parliamentary inquiries together with the Parliamentary Group for Digital Sustainability. The community effort kicked off by make.opendata.ch is a much needed complement to the political and public relations activities.
